I went to a new kickboxing academy which I was nervous about. It unfortunately wasn't as good as I hoped. :\

Rode a mule into the Grand Caynon with just myself, the wrangler, and the guide on a cold winter's day.
Confronted the other woman, and put out a huge boundary for my SO. That took a while; it took a lot of bravery and it took a lot of encouragement.

I am not brave, I wish I could be, I used to be 19 yrs ago I was a single mom, raising a 2 yr Old on my own, had my own place to live, worked full time and paid all my bills, now I am not even close to being that person!
@jr50 that person is also you. No matter what, that person will never be someone else but always YOU.

I was candid about my attraction to a coworker? I learned that it just hurts to keep that stuff in. Like, emotionally and in a strange physical sense too.
So, I asked to speak with her privately, explained that I understand she has a boyfriend, there's an age gap and there are other reasons it would be unlikely to work but, hey I'm attracted to you.
I didn't need her to reciprocate. In fact, that might be worse since she's with somebody.
No expectations, I just needed to get it off my chest.
I feel better about it now. I'm still kinda lonely but at least I'm not dwelling on whether I should say something.
Does that count as brave? Considering the point was just to make myself feel better?
