The 7cups app!
I think the more time is needed for the 7cups app. The iPhone version, I have no idea how the android version works.
Although it's easy to use and navigtae through, it needs to be more polished. On the new iPhone X for example the app looks...weird, it's over sized, doesn't respect the notch.
The app also has a problem with the notifications, it doesn't always show that someone has messaged me.
I am sorry if I am annoying anyone, I don't intend to hate i just want the app to be better. I really care for this community and I want it better,
I get the impression a lot of work is being done on the app these days. I'm not sure exactly what, because it doesn't let me log in 
But I see that on iOS it updated to version 4.2.2 yesterday (in the UK), and 7 Cups App on the web is now at version 4.2.6. So it looks like there are plenty of bug fixes in the pipeline. Keep sending in bug reports!
I agree with you that sensitivity to criticism at 7 Cups can get in the way of progress. That's a much more difficult thing to fix than software bugs.. but I'm hopeful—in the bad old days a post like yours would have risked being deleted in minutes.
