sure @lucy2, help me make sure I understand your situation.
You are talking about email notifications of new messages in chat, yes?
Do you never get them or only sometimes?
And what are your settings for New Message notifications?

Yes, New messages to chat, I always used to get them as soon as someone messaged me if I wasn't online but I haven't had any for months. My settings are for Immediately I receive a message.
