Note: Changing Chat Topics as a Member on the App
Hey everyone,
For the app users who are members, I just wanted to let you know that at this current time you can only change your chat topic on the desktop version of the site. Topics don’t automatically reset.
Here’s how you can choose a topic (and reset it):
- https://www.7cups.com/chat/
- Click Chat live with a listener on the right-hand side
- You’ll be given the choice of inputting up to 3 topics when entering the queue
Those topics will stay until you re-enter the queue and you’ll be asked to input the topics again.However, on the app there is not an option for inputting topics, so the issues you last selected on the desktop will carry over.
@Heather225 Good to know and hopefully an app update isn't too far off!
I second that, since I use the app and I'm getting so tired of listeners from referencing topics I picked over a year ago. And when you tell them that isn't correct anymore, they get "well that's what it says!"
@WarmHeartedBear82 That's frustrating! You can link to this to help explain why if you want but that shouldn't be necessary.
7cups does work fairly well on my phone browser.
I mean, I know that the app is meant to be a very stripped down version of the website, so I’m not sure what that will look like.
