Eid Mubarak!
As-salamu alaykum! I hope you all are doing well. It feels like yesterday I wrote this post and here we are a month later! For most if not all of us the month of Ramadan is ending either today or tomorrow. I hope all those who celebrate it were able to get the most out of it. The end of this holy month marks the occasion of Eid. After a month of fasting from sunrise to sunset and focusing on spiritual/religious practices, Muslims end the month with a celebration called ‘Eid al-Fitr’ which literally translates to feast/festival in the Arabic language. Read more about Eid here. You can find out about the different dates here. Eid is either tomorrow 13 or 14 (depending upon the country you are in).
For most of us, this will be our third Eid in the pandemic and for a festival that at the core has meeting people, it can be a difficult adjustment and I want to acknowledge that it is a tough time for a lot of us but we do what we can to make the most of this celebration. I encourage all of us to try our best to celebrate it in a safe way yet still do the things that can make us feel like it's Eid! Whether it is cooking your favorite meal, putting on henna, or just pampering yourself! Insha'Allah soon we will celebrate it in a way we always had! This too shall pass.
While we are not able to meet our family/friends offline, we can still share our joy with each other! Please share your Eid wishes in this thread. I also encourage you to share your Eid plans with us and what preparations you made. You can use the following guiding questions!
‣ What preparations have you made for Eid?
‣ How do you intend to celebrate Eid?
A lot of us put on Henna for Eid. I would love to see yours if you have also done it! Share with us the pictures in the thread. Feel free to also share pictures of other preparations you may have done and you feel comfortable sharing.
To share a picture in a post, you have to upload a link to the picture and you can get that link by uploading to any website that gives you a link such as Imgur. If you have trouble with it, PM me and I can help you.
If you are not a Muslim and wonder how to best go about this festival then I encourage you to wish the Muslims in our and your community Eid Mubarak! In this time of increased isolation, such gestures mean even more than usual!

Eid Mubarak
Eid Mubarak ☺️
Eid Mubarak to everyone! Wishing you all lots of love, happiness and success. Since we know these are difficult times for many, let's keep remembering those people in our prayers who won't be able to celebrate this Eid the way they had hoped. May all their troubles be resolved and their peace be restored. May all those families who have experienced loss, be granted with Sabr. Here in Pakistan, the Eid will be celebrated tomorrow. May Allah bless you all with good health, prosperity and all His bounties. ❤️

I hope everyone has a great Eid.
