This is a pic I took 2y ago during my internship, which was an overall wonderful but also quite difficult time in my life. I was in a new place on my own, hours away from home and family. I was unsure of myself and a lot of things at that time, everything seemed so uncertain. This is when I began to learn I find a lot of peace, comfort, and solace in nature, especially water. There were a lot of parks near where I live. I was just exploring the area one weekend when I became blessed to find this gem. I made it a weekly activity where I would go to this park every weekend and just sit by the water, letting it clear my mind with the waves gently washing and carrying my thoughts away. I still have this as my wallpaper currently and I can’t help but smile every time I see it.

@Hope I chose to instead take a photo of a birdhouse that I built through a dirty window, to me it signifies that no matter how perfect you try to be, there will be some cloudy smudges along the way. I am not perfect, and I no longer choose to pretend that I am.
I love sunsets they always give me hope that no matter how fake it gets the sun always rises again and brings light
