is there a way to keep up with my forum thread. the threads that I, myself post. I don't see a list of my own posts anywhere, and I can't remember what sections I posted threads in. How do i find my threads throughout the forum?

I don't believe there's a way right now, but there is a discussion going on about whether it could be possible to search certain users in the forums (including yourself) to find older posts. I'm 100% with you - I think it would be a great add!

Right now you can't, but you can subscribe to the thread to get notifications whenever there is a new reply and also save the links on your notes or bookmark them.

To find threads use the "Search Forum" feature of the site. If you remember the title a bit, it might be a good tool to use.

@My5sences - you can subscribe to a thread in two ways.

1. If you are posting in a thread, while you write your reply, you can see below the text box that there is a checkbox that says 'Subscribe to this Thread' - it will automatically be checked for you, but you can also choose to uncheck it if you don't want notifications about the thread.

2. If you see a thread you want to follow that you aren't posting in (or that you have posted in, but unsubscribed from before), at the top of the page you will see a green 'Post to Thread' button and to the left of that is a dark 'Subscribe' button. Once you've subscribed, the button will be a grey 'Unsubscribe' button, in case you decide you don't want to be notified of updates again.

Once you're subscribed to a thread, any time someone posts to it, you should get a notification in the top righthand corner of any 7 cups page you are on. It will be a green bubble with a number in it, and you can click on it to see your various alerts. On the 7 Cups app, there is an alarm bell looking icon that will tell you when you have updates.

If you want to keep track of all the threads you have posted in, there's not currently a clean way to do this, but you could either save links to those threads in your notes, bookmarks, or another file. You could also make a practice of signing your name in your posts, then you can use the forum search bar to search for your name and find your posts.

Hope that helps!

Is my dad abusing me? I need some help because I'm confused and I'm growing and...I honestly don't kniw what to do. It all started last year, when I was 12. Now I'm thirteen and as you know developing breasts and whatnot. So, my dad started calling me and my sister rude things like a**hole, b**ch, wh*re, worthless, etc. It really broke me down and he started yelling as well about nothing. Then he would start slapping and grabbing my butt. I told him no firmly and stop, and he said, "I can touch your butt whenever I want to." He continued to do it and hug me tigthly and awkwardly. Sometimes my parents tuck me in and tell me goodnight, but I don't want them to anymore because of him. He always slides his hand on my waist and kisses me intensely on my neck and my cheek while making weird, sexual noises. I tell him to stop, but he won't. He's rubbed my back, but it makes me feel weird. He makes crude comments about my butt and says it's big. Sometimes he stares as well. Today at dinner, he started grabbing my thigh and my butt in front of everyone, but he played it off as if he were 'play fighting' with me. I told him no, stop, don't!

What do I do? Am I overreacting?

@itsnixie

Hi um you're not overreacting.

That's abusive behavior and not how a father should treat his daughter.

@itsnixie

oml you poor thing

no you are not overreacting

he is sexually harrassing you

you should go to another trusted adult and tell them. a teacher, another family memeber that isn't doing that stuff to you, etc

i hope you are doing okay now. but if he tries it again, go to a neighbor's house and ask for help, or call someone.

i don't know what else to say, i'm sorry! i hope sincerely that this stops soon.
