5/22/19 Notifications being cleared at 4pm eastern
Hello lovely people of 7 Cups!
Have you noticed your notifications are a little extra lately? They keep coming back and just won't let go even after you've cleared them out? Thanks to everyone filing bug reports our product team has identified the issue and resolved it. Yay product! To help everyone out and make things calm, cool, and collected again we will be clearing out all notifactions from before 5/15/19 at 4pm Eastern today.
From our product team:
We were upgrading the database that handles notifications to a more modern technology. This upgrade will allow us to really improve notification functionality & stability going forward buuuut unfortunately caused some wonkiness when we made the switch.
Thanks everyone for being patient while this was worked out! Onward to more modern and sophisticated notifications with our new system. So classy!
I'm so happy to hear this news! As someone who wants to have their notification panel always cleared, it's such a struggle to x them one by one and have them come back after you refresh haha 😂 thank you so much product team, here are some pizza slices for your hard work 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

i was wondering when the badge notifications will work for when u get a new message? the badge always has a 1? i have set my setting to only get notifications for new messages?
