We are thrilled to announce that the latest version of the 7 Cups android app will be released tonight! woohoo!!

I can't message someone from the forum, some if I'm in the forum and want to message someone who posted there, clicking on their username will open up their profile like normal but when I click the message button it just loads for a second, but then doesn't do anything and just shows the forum post.
Also, the chats tend to snap down to the bottom when a new message is being posted, which can make it hard to follow a chat that's going quite fast because if you scroll up to read previous responses it just snaps back to the new messages every time
@Liz1000 ah, never mind that first one, it just pretends not to do anything because the conversation doesn't show up in the list of 1-on-1s but when you switch back to the chat tab using the buttons at the bottom of the screen is does show it
@Liz1000 - but it does not go to the chat directly. That is what I would expect (unless I guess you're leaving a message and waiting for a reply?).

File this under "bug", but its an easily fixable one. I believe we never tested this from any tab besides the chat tab. We simply need to focus there when we load the conversation.
@ezraBC - so call this bug "focus on chat tab when starting conversation from other tabs"?
I have been complained of not replying even after i did ... can anybody solve it? I even take a screenshot about it?
Don't know if it's already been mentioned but when I try to search/browse listeners most of the dropdown lists for filtering only present the "All" option.
@puddy - oh that is a new one on me! what type of device, Android version, and 7 Cups version?

Also I find that the app is quite good and miss when tapping links - eg the next step in the growth path can take a few attempts to activate.
Similarly notification and alert counts in the status bar at the bottom of the screen don't always immediately decrement on dismissing a notification or alert.

For some reason today the search listeners form is working fine and all filtering dropdown lists ARE populated correctly. Not sure why they didn't work properly on Sunday... :-\
@puddy I have noticed the last bit as wel, to dismiss alerts you need to click on the x, go to another tab, come back, do it again and sometimes a third time before it disappears (this can actually be quite convenient, when it links to a forum post you read, but want to respond to later).
It also rarely registers messages as not read over and over and over again, so if you click on the conversation, move away again after a few seconds it will show as unread again, even though there are new messages. It also does the opposite sometimes, not register something as an unread message even though there is one.
@Liz1000 - yes there are nagging budges in the message counter and we plan to address thay soon.

Sounds great! The application is not bad enough, I liked it. I downloaded it yesterday.
