May 20: New Version of the App for Android!

We are excited to announce app updates!
The updated android app is available for download. iPhone app will be available soon!
Here is what's new:

I really like the new update as it makes it a lot easier to navigate. However, there is a bug that causes the app to freeze for me until I copletely kill the process.
It only occurs when I swipe to the right in order to see the left side with the Feed, the notifications and so on. Sometimes when I do so there will not only be these things but also the options from the right side. The following screenshot might provide a little more clarity on what I mean (I only faded out the E-Mail since I do not want to share personal information):
Despite this little bug, I really like the new design and the overall improvements!
@FaithForTheWin - yes that's a yucky bug! I think we fixed it last night? Be sure to get the latest and let me know.
I need to post some updates to this thread because we've fixed some things...
@KrinkTheMellowUnicorn my page keeps glitching and the screen gets cut in half. When I look for my chats, they aren't there, but when I refresh it, they are. I personally liked how the app was before. Much less confusing...

As I don't really know how to recreate that bug on the old version I wasn't able to really test that behavior on the updated version.
However, I've been using the updated app for some time now and the bug didn't occur at all. So I guess that it has been fixed but if it happens again I'll let you know.
I'm really glad about the new update overall, too! The overall improvements, like adding the browse listeners for listeners, are really great! Thank you very much for working so hard and making a lot of progress that fast! ☺
Nevertheless (I'm sorry for being so annoying but I seem to attract bugs 😮) I guess I found another little bug:
When I'm touching the magnifying glass icon on the top right corner at the growth path, I'm seeing the "What's on your mind?" page with a lot of categories listed there. However I can't scroll or touch anything on that section and I'm quite unsure what that section even should do.

@FaithForTheWin - wow, it doesn't scroll and you can't select anything? that's bad!
are other android users seeing this problem?
what kind of phone are you using an what version of the android OS if you can check?

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini (also called GT-I9195) with Andriod version 4.4.2

@KrinkTheMellowUnicorn I am facing the same problem, except it's only limited to not being to scroll down the list. Apart from this, the send icon (the small arrow blue icon) for the messages is not working. I have to press enter to send the message.
