I updated last night. I like the look and layout of the app. Nice job. I do have a few thoughts. I am missing the notifications tab and someone else already mentioned no longer having access to our referral link.
Also, I noticed that I do not get notifications when I receive new messages. It has been about a month now where they have not worked for me, on the old app. I was hoping they would work on the new one, but so far they are not.

thanks for the update. the referral link is coming back... we just haven't had time to build out hte Me tab properly yet.
The notifications problem is perplexing, especially since as you said for at least some people they stopped behaving a few weeks ago.
@ezraBC and I are trying to get to the bottom of what is the problem with notifications.
One thing to check is to make sure you have push notifications on and that you have new message notifications set to "Mobile Only".

And yessir, I have it set to mobile only. It used to work perfectly before, then all of a sudden it just stopped. I have not adjusted any settings.
@PolarCat - hmm, that's a tricky one. We'll try to figure out what is going on.

Hi,
I have updated to the new app and everything looks great, i have a major concern however as i went to use it tonight on iPhone 6 and started a couple of chats and thought it was strange that i had not had any repsonses, i logged onto my laptop to find i had not been receving on my phone messages from the 2 people i had started chats with, i then started to talk on the laptop to them looked at my phone and all the chat was fragmented with my responses appearing as both their messages and my own (left and right). I had one person leave the chat and one other i had to apologise to and catch up with everything they had been talking about.
I am more than happy to work alongside devs if needed to help isolate and iron out the issues, i just need this app to work effectivley from the offset if not it should have been labeled as a beta
Sorry for the frustration i just find it really embarrasing having to apologise to someone who is currently coming to me for help because the chat is all over the place and having to run for a laptop to try and reconnect the chat

@allthelove no immediate plans for a windows phone native version but I can research the effort involved with @ezraBC.
FINALLY a decent app to work with my 6s+ thank you 7 cups! only bug I've found is that I can't copy paste a link to post on my feed, other than that great upgrade!

I also don't seem to be able to copy and paste in the app. I'm going to ask @ezraBC to look into fixing that.
@aricat @KrinkTheMellowUnicorn I don't know whether is this going to help but whenever I find myself copying links and sending and it doesn't appear, there's just a simple fix; add a space right after the thing you copied, and it will appear after you send it. I have used this trick from the previous app too! :)

I swear none of my new requests ever go through!! What is wrong with me that I can't talk to someone when on my iPhone???
It says I have chats in progress and won't let me start a new one
me too! I really want to talk to someone, but it won't let me.
I have noticed another thing. Say I have a chat in progress. I switch from the 7cups app to my email. Then when I go back to the 7cups app I can see there is a new message, but I am unable to click on it to open the conversation. I have to close out the app completely and then restart it to get to the new message.
@PolarCat Yes that happens to me too! Hope @KrinkTheMellowUnicorn will be able to fix it as the app takes quite long to load.
@7degrees Yes, it does. I imagine they are quite busy working on various 7cups things. I am being patient. :) I generally do not use it for chats with members/guests anyways. I just use it to check messages mostly or to set up chat times.
@PolarCat Yep same here! :) I'm being really patient about this as well! Hahaha

When this happens to me, i click on the settings ( in the chat thing) and a green envelope will appear in the right hand corner, click that, an usually will take you to the recent chats and won't be glitched
@Mice123 - thanks for sharing that workaround (although I wish it "just worked" as expected :D )
