Burned out college student

Just a 25yr old senior college student looking for some advice. I'm in my last full time semester with 3 classes left to take in the fall, finally graduating in December. I'm an accounting major which means I took a minor to get 150 credits in case I want to get my CPA. Anyways I've been in school forever and I don't know if it because of that or that the work load is just too much, but I really feel like I'm just losing my mind this semester. I've basically been describing my life as constantly working to anyone that ask how I'm doing. I'm in school all week with an hour drive to campus each way. I'm working on assignments from the moment I get up until I have to go to bed. The weekend comes and I'm working my part time retail, then doing assignments when I get home. I feel like I'm always working or busy in some capacity this semester and I think it's quite literally driving me insane. I can't sleep anymore because I can't stop thinking of all the assignments I need to do. I've debated quiting my retail job

Ok the app didn't let me finish but long story short debating quiting my job. Not sure if that's a good idea though because if I can't handle being constantly busy right now then from the sounds of it, I won't survive in accounting. I heard most accountants work 60-80 hours weeks and I'm literally almost done with my degree so it's not like I can change my career path now. So basically what do I do to support myself if I never have any free time?

Are you working part-time on the weekends because you need to pay for your own courses and gas for car? If you have enough savings to get you through, you could either quit your job, or see if they allow you to take a break from work, so you can focus on your studies only.

With only 3 more courses left until you graduate, these are the crucial remaining months, burnouts now will not be very good. Accounting is a lot of assignments, and I can imagine that they are all very time consuming. Space out your assignments if possible, give yourself breaks in between. Good luck~

Hey there that sounds quite the hassle that you're dealing with. I've had friends who did their accounting major and went into CPA tell me that yes accounting is hard and the work hours are crazy but relatively not as packed as your schedule seems right now. There is a lot of hours going into other things than studying like your part time and even your commute, which takes 2 hours a day! While that not be something that you can change any bit perhaps start re-examining the parts you can change. Are there any avenues in which I can save some time and keep my working schedule intact? Another line of reasoning I've seen is since its the last semester, giving the last effort in and taking a nice break between graduating and starting accounting. Perhaps another question to consider is if you find enjoyment in accounting? Often times burn out can happen the fastest when we're stuck in something we don't find intrinsic motivation to do. It's a rather serious thought to consider but it may worthwhile if you do find yourself valuing certain things over others. Otherwise, I wish you the best of luck in completing this semester!
