I hear you. But don't look back just forge ahead. Treat it as a bright new dawn after a really dark night. The very fact you want to complete your credits shows inner strength and firm resolve so let nothing pull you back. We all are here to support you. You can PM me anytime you want to.
Wish you all the best.![]()
How are you doing now?
I've dropped out of University too, back in the days. The first year had put me in a very dangerous state with my severe depression. I dropped out at the beginning of my second year. Moved back home and worked for my dad for a couple of years instead. During that time, I went to see a Psychologist and started on medications again. I did not get back into University afterwards, but throughout the years, I've been taking courses here and there at local colleges. I realized I cope my depression better when I did part-time studies. I've recently re-started part-time studies again last Fall. Making sure the courses I take, are of interest. That's already winning half the battle, studying won't be as difficult.
There are different breathing techniques you can try. It should help to calm your mind.
Box Breathing Method: Breathe in through the nose for 4 seconds, hold it for 4 seconds, slowly exhale for 4 seconds. Repeat all three steps for 4 minutes, or until you feel calm.
Yoga should also have some breathing techniques they advise too.
Work on school assignments in short blocks of time, but work efficiently with the designated time frame. Take breathing breaks in between, and that should help more.
Aside from these coping strategies, were you able to come up with anything else for the past month?~
