How do you manage your stress?

I personally make a list of things to be done and mark the deadlines on my calendar. It still gets stressful though and overwhelming. Meditation helps.

Thank you for making this post! I listen to music when I'm under stress and for self-care in general.

I like to take a break and lie down, and when my cat is around I pet him.

Thank u for the post. 😁

Wen I am stressed I tend to panic a lot. So in order to avoid that, I make a plan and list the things mentally which I can do and seperate the things which r not in my control. And then I proceed with the things I can control, one thing at a time.😊😊😊

@gloriousBubbles2000 Exercise is always a big help for me. I would also encourage people to take advantage of their school's health services. It can be as simple as finding a support group that meets on a scheduled basis to getting more help, whether it's seeing a doctor or something else.

I make to-do lists as well, and I split things up into different sections so I can cross them off and feel accomplished.

To be honest, if I'm feeling really stressed, I'll usually just take a nap.

By trying to get ahead of my schedule and managing my time. I try to do as much as I can in advance. I also remember to take time for myself, eat well and get enough sleep and when I feel too overwhelmed, i take a break and see my friends.

For college, I deal with stress by listening to a lot of music and also sleeping a lot as well. The bed is my favorite place to dream of what the world might become and reflect what I have learned from that current day.

I like to take a break to do some recreational reading. I think it improves my vocabulary and reading comprehension for school while calming me down a bit and taking me outside of my own head.

Being in college, it can be very easy for stress to build up and become extremely overwhelming.

In order to manage my stress, I like to create a plan. If I am stressed about the amount of homework I have, I create a plan to complete one subject one day, or do half of a project in the morning and start another project in the evening and finish both within 2 days, etc. I think staying organized and creating a plan of attack truly helps when feeling like the amount of work you have to get done is daunting.

It's also important to avoid procrastinating! Starting on tasks as early as possible can definitely help you relieve some stress. After all, it's better to finish something a little earlier than when it's due, than to wait until the last minute, become even more stressed out, and possibly produce low quality work.

If you're feeling very unmotivated and just want to watch Netflix while you stress about all of the work you have to do, I find it helpful to set goals and rewards for yourself. For example, tell yourself that after you write a couple pages of your research paper, then you can have a snack, or text a friend back, or go on social media for 5 minutes. Having goals to work towards can help you get through a boring task.

If you feel as though you get too easily distracted or lose track of time, then reward yourself while you are working to make it seem more enjoyable. For example, if you love drinking coffee, then only allow yourself to drink coffee while you are studying or doing homework.

Overall, the key to managing stress is to set a plan or schedule that will work to get all of your work done within a reasonable time frame, and do something to make it enjoyable or an end goal you want to work towards. The biggest reminder is to just breathe, believe in yourself, and know that you will accomplish your goals and everything will work out. :) ❤️

I am currently trying to find ways to deal with stress because when I reach my breaking point it’s bad. I start to get panic attacks. I don’t do well in stressful situations. I am currently going through it right now. I’m stressed out about a exam. The class itself has been quite interesting but really challenging. You just have to be up on your toes and really study through. I understand some concepts better than others. I know journaling helps to ease of that stress or worry.
