@FaithfulZareia

Heyy Zareia! Yeahh it was saddening as a lot of work was put into studying for the exam , but it’s all okay , more preparation for my next exams!

https://www.examinations.ie/archive/exampapers/2023/JC003ALP000EV.pdf

I struggled with

Question 1

Question 3 (c)

Question 4 (d)

Question 5 (c)

Question 6

Question 8 (c) (ii) and (d)

Question 10

Question 12

Question 13

Question 14

As you can probably tell I struggled with quite a few questions but i’ve given answers to them all and just want to double check my answers.I know it’s a lot so it might be a lot for one person to explain all of them.But even if you could explain 1 or even just show me the workings of 1 of the questions , I’d be wayyy more than grateful.

Thanks a million

Once again,

Rose 💗

Oh my you’re the bestt! I’ve linked a link to the exam paper I struggled with above and I’ve written the exact questions I didn’t understand under the link.It would be amazing if you could maybe answer one or two of them and maybe send me a picture of it? That would be so helpful for me and I’d be beyondd grateful.I know it’s a lot so don’t worry if you’d just prefer to do one or maybe even two , that would be moree than enough 💗

Much love and many thanks ,

Rose 🤍

@amicableScarf8436

Its unfortunately against 7 cups guidelines to share personal information over the app or even chat on any other platform.It’s okay I know it might be a hassle to send pictures so you don’t have to worry about it.I don’t mind receiving pictures by the way , to be honest I’m actually more of a visual learner rather than an auditory learner.So if it’s not a hassle for you then it’s certainly not a problem for me.

But it’s okay if you’d rather nott! Thank you for offering your kind help anyways 💗💗

I haven't done Math for so long, I looked through the questions, and I only know how to do 14a. I guess that's not much help to you. Hopefully someone else can give you more answers.

@Littlerose00

for 14a, u can use pythagoras theorem to find x in triangle DEC

x^2 + 9^2 = 15^2

x = square root of (225-81)

x = square root of 144

x = 12

@Littlerose00

14(b)

triangle CED and triangle CAB are similar

as all three angles are same in both these triangles

from similar triangle properties, sides ratio are equal too

CE/CA = ED/AB = CD/CB

x/(15+AD) = 9/y = 15/2x

it implies y = 18x/12 = 18*12/12 = 18
