Study Tips

February 3rd, 2023

Dear Readers,

This is my first post. It will include 3 helpful tips every week. Here is this week's -

1. This one is for formulae or little facts- First, understand it, read it attentively 3 times, write it down 3 times, speak it in your brain 3 times and write it once again. Don't hurry, this will hardly take three minutes.

2. Whatever you have learnt, pull out a piece of paper or a notebook and close the book. Make mind maps, and write definitions, facts, factors, and reasons on them while explaining them to an imaginary person (and that means speaking out loud).

3. While studying, imagine that you are surrounded by cameras and they are shooting you for inspiration for students (it's a movie!) and no acting to study. Really studying.

I hope this post helps you. Meet you next week! Thanks

@Tae22534, these are very good tips. Looking forward to your weekly tips.

I'd like to add something if you don't mind. When I took a Psychology course a few semesters ago, it says that an average person can retain 7 items at a time. So if you're working on, say memorizing technical terms and their meanings, you can try doing it in sets of 7 words + meanings.
