@wonderfulBlossom510, do you have any specific ways to manage your time between the heavy workload of Biology and the mental pressure of Psychology? I’m curious how you maintain a balance without burning out?
@thomasfrank32
Hey ✨ I only do psychology so I don't have the extra workload of subjects like Biology, but I do feel the mental pressure can still pile with the essays, readings and exams.
What has helped me is breaking things down into smaller, clear chunks and scheduling short, focused study sessions with planned breaks. Another thing I do is also try to mix up the type of work, so that I'm not doing heavy reading or mentally draining work all at one time; for instance, I alternate between notes, questions and mind maps -- and this sort of takes that mental strain away. Lastly, one important thing I'd say really helped is having a mental check in at the end of each day. Thinking about things like what went well, what felt stressful and what I can realistically carry into tomorrow stops me from feeling like I'm always behind.
I'd love to hear if you've found any ways to make pressure more manageable!
