Finding Motivation For Back To School

Its that time of year again, where everywhere we look theres a back to school advertisement. I know we all have had that feeling of dread when seeing them and trying to keep the start of school as far away as possible. Well, today I have some tips to make your transition from the summer sun, back to school a little more doable.

Get cute supplies:

This one might not be for everyone but for me personally, it helps me a lot. Ever since Ive been getting aesthetically pleasing school supplies, Ive taken much prettier notes which helps me learn a lot better. I usually get a lot of my cute supplies from the Dollar Tree since there are some really nice finds there.

Set short term goals:

A short term goal is a goal you would like to achieve in the near future, some examples of short term goals are; getting over 70% on all your science work in the first semester of school, getting all your things to school and organized within the first week, planning a fall morning/ night school routine. This goal can be really anything that you feel is necessary for helping to motivate you.

Set long term goals:

A long term goal is a goal that you would like to achieve by the end of the school year, some examples include; getting an award that your school might offer (such as honour awards), handing in all your homework in on time, or passing all your classes. Once again, this goal can be anything that you think will motivate you to do your best in the 2019/2020 school year!

I will be back later this week to go more in-depth about short/long term goals and SMART goals and how to write them.

Feel free to share some of your goals with us, there are no wrong answers! smiley

Maybe some people can relate to this as some people may have immigrant parents or parents who work physical-intensive jobs because they have no choice. Think about them and think about how advancing your education can put you in a career where you can provide for yourself and for them so they can retire sooner! They worked so hard so you can focus on your education!

Another one I like to think of is the fact that knowledge is power and no one can ever steal the knowledge you have away from you. This is motivating because you can be the richest person in the world, (and rich people can get a lot of things in life), but one thing rich people can not take, buy, or even hire someone to steal for them, is knowledge.

Education is THE BEST investment for yourself. Don't take it for granted! smiley

@LavishLavender22 Thanks for the tips :)

Also: Look for tips on studying. I don't know about you guys, but everytime I search anything related to school, I always get cute, aesthetic pictures of study spaces, happy students, and lots of studying articles that usually give me the boost I need when I don't feel motivated enough.

@LavishLavender22 I can remember my own experience when I had to finish my education as an external student because I missed so much due to illness. I have divided all subjects into main and side ones. Everything I needed to go to college I did myself. My parents even hired a tutor for me. But secondary subjects (history, literature) were given to WriteMyAssignment.com This approach to teaching motivated me well because I saw real results. I was more sorry that I had missed out on a lot of socializing with my friends at school.

Knowing that someone has got my back to help me with my college essay should be motivating enough for me. I honestly think, that most students are put off by the very thought of grinding through their lessons. However, my tutoring service was of great help in understanding new subjects and getting through some of the tough assingments.
