Hey everyone! 🤗

I wanted to take a moment to share my journey in case it resonates with anyone who might be feeling overwhelmed or discouraged.

Two and a half years ago, I embarked on a new adventure by starting university. I was genuinely passionate about what I was studying, but the reality of my first year hit me hard. It was incredibly challenging, and little did I know, my second year would be even tougher. I found myself feeling desperate at times, fantasizing about quitting almost every single day, battling through exams that felt nearly impossible to pass, which made me question my intelligence and ability to ever finish my degree.

However, something remarkable happened in my third year. Everything started to shift. I started loving university, understanding what those challenges were supposed to teach me, and truly enjoying my studies, transforming my experience from one of frustration to one of fulfillment. I realized that persistence pays off, and all my hard work truly started to blossom.

I'm sharing this because I want to encourage anyone who is struggling right now. I want you to know that it's ok to face challenges and failure sometimes. Your journey might be tough now, but brighter days can be ahead. Keep pushing forward toward your dreams, embrace the struggles, and believe in yourself. You are capable of achieving incredible things.

Hang in there! Your hard work will pay off in ways you might not see quite yet. ⭐

Such a powerful, motivational message! 💛 Soooo happy for you!

What enabled the shift for you though, something that you did differently? Or any tips to stay persistent even when things are challenging?

Thank you, @Sunisshiningandsoareyou 😊

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. However, I believe that what must have helped is the fact that over these past few years, I've been working a lot on myself, so I've been growing and learning a lot about several different aspects of life.

About persistence, I consciously chose not to see quitting as an option.

@GlowingShoe9326 I love that mindset, about not giving yourself the option to choose to quit, when we do that there's no other option than to continue trying our best hehe and yes it aids to a whole lot of learning and growth, way to go youu! 🌻

Such an important message!! I had a similar thing, my first 2 years were so tricky but my third year has been completely different and I've loved every second of it! The amount of times I nearly dropped out is insane and I'm so glad I didn't!!

@Bethany1205  Thank you for sharing your journey—it’s such an important reminder that struggles don’t define the outcome, but perseverance does. It’s incredible how things can shift over time, and your story is proof that pushing through the tough moments can lead to something truly fulfilling.

For anyone reading this and feeling overwhelmed—you're not alone. Growth happens in ways we don’t always see right away, and sometimes the hardest chapters lead to the most rewarding ones. Keep going, trust yourself, and know that brighter days are ahead.

Thank you so much for sharing your journey! It’s incredibly inspiring to hear how you pushed through the tough moments and came out stronger. University can be such a rollercoaster, and it’s easy to feel like the challenges will never end, but your story is proof that persistence and growth go hand in hand.

I love what you said about struggles teaching us something—sometimes, we don’t realize the lessons until we’re on the other side of them. Your experience is a reminder that difficult times don’t last forever, and things can truly get better with time and perseverance.

For anyone reading this who feels stuck or discouraged, I hope they take your words to heart. Keep going, even when it feels impossible. You never know when that turning point will come
