Don't know what's right in life
I am going to graduate after 1 year, then gonna be looking for a job,but the thing is I am really confused of what to do specifically in life.
And eventually my father also saying to take coaching because he heard that from one of my cousin.
As she is doing hence he wants me to do that as well and as i myself is confused of what to do in life,i even can't say anything to him.
And for knowing what to do,i need to try and test different different courses for 1 year,i mean 1 year courses but that requires money and i don't think my parents will agree and let me to do what my father is saying.
It's whole lot of a pressure, stress after graduation
While no one gets you.
@Place8370 aw I can relate it is truly a scary place to be in feeling stuck from all sides 😔 it is demotivating and depressing to the core, I feel you
is it possible to have a talk with your father about what you dont want to do? It is ok to not know what you want to do but you're halfway there knowing what you "don't" so now you can explore more of your interests and take up something that you like :)
life is more stressful when we divide it in phases or age groups and validate our existence on the basis of our productivity and purpose, itll be more than that always , you will be more than that always 💕and it is ok to take your time
I wish i could explore, but as i am in a university and as last year's are coming by,the pressure, stress given by this university is increasing,by giving assignments, then the exams and all, after every 1-2 month and they don't leave us like that, they force us to attend classes,if won't follow 75% attendance criteria then can't appear exams and I had done this once and hence i had to write an application that i won't do it again. I know some people will say,you are making this as excuse, but everyone don't have the capability to do things under so much of stress and pressure.
And about father,he won't get me,he was telling me one day in call that u must have had figured out what u must do by now (it means father want to say as my university is ending so my vision should be clear of what I want to do) and as he is seeing my vision isn't clear, hence as he could see that my cousin studying the same thing hence he thinks whatever my cousin is thinking of doing is right.
I could know after university i could have time for thinking and doing but my parents can't afford that, they need things to be decided quickly.
With one year left until graduation, use this time to explore and discover what you are interested in doing. What are you passionate about that you believe that you'll enjoy doing as a job/career? You and your cousin are two different people, with different interests and outlook of your lives. What your father wants you to be doing, that is what he thinks. Do have a chat with him if you can, let him know that you need time to figure out what you want to do with your life when it comes to a job, and let him know that coaching is not something you want to do. What works for you cousin, doesn't mean it'll work out for you too!
It is okay to not know what you want to be doing. Don't give yourself too much pressure. Not everyone knows what they want to be doing after graduation. Don't worry too much about that.

The final year of University is always very stressful and everything seems crammed. Don't be too discouraged that your vision is unclear. It's okay to not have a clear vision after graduation, I think your father may be satisfied if you have a plan. Even though you don't know what you want to be doing as a future career, at least have a plan. Then tell your father that plan. Or if you're close with your cousin, maybe ask them to tell your father that coaching is only a temporary job and not something for the long-term.
There's only about 50/50 of students who has a clear outlook on their careers upon graduating from University. Our parents always tend to compare us to those who look more successful and know what they'll be doing after graduation, as they think their child is just as perfect as those people. But in reality, not everyone will be working a career/job that they feel passionate for right from the start and some parents don't understand this.
At the least, I think you need to have a plan after graduation. Rather that be finding a random job, continue with studies, or even temporarily go into coaching until you've found your own path, you need a plan. That's all your father wants from you.
