Dream
Do u even remember what u wanted to become as a child? What were ur aspirations? Now think have u achieved that? And if yes how much n how much is still in process...i feel extremely lucky that i did what i wanted to become. Yes it was not easy...but is life even worth if it gets easy. As rightly said " hard earned, hard treasured, hard valued". So whoever reading this..if it's hard then u r on right track my friend. Career first, everything else can wait. Someone said to me " never go to ur grave as an underachiever".
I had a lot of imaginary careers I wanted to do as a child, at one point, I remember taking introductory classes of the same field, but none of them turned out the way I imagined it to be.
I'm glad to hear you're in a career you've wanted to be in and is enjoying it. I continue to work on my dream career, it's a never-ending process. I only hope I can reach it sooner than later, yet, it seems to change depending on personal situations (financial stability). I know to not stop dreaming though, and since it is something I'm looking forward to do, I keep myself motivated as I work to get there.

Most definitely that it is the key and it's also perfectly okay if that motivation comes and goes. We often get distracted and lose the motivation, but it is important that we regroup ourselves to get back on track. Sometimes, motivation needs to be discovered, while at other times, it comes along with the desire to achieve certain goals.

I have always wanted to teach and worked incredibly hard to get to where I am. However, dreams change and so do goals! Now I'm on a journey to be the best I can be at my job!

I wanted to be a pilot when I was a kid (I guess I'm not the only one). But it was only a dream and I ended up working in the office from 9 til 5. Actually, my childhood desire changed over the years and now I want to become my own boss, so currently I'm working on a project roadmap in the hope to create my own product and to have a business.

I'm also in the process of starting my own business too. Once it launches and I'm earning enough, I could quit my job. Really looking forward to that day! Good luck with creating your own product and starting a business!~

My whole life I have wanted to be a physician, and now that I am in professional school, I admit that I am experiencing a lot more pressure than I anticipated. I did not think about it like this before, but I truly feel that I can relate to your idea of "struggle means I'm doing alright."
