99% committed

I feel like I need to be 100% comitted to my goals otherwise there is room to fail. If I am only 99% committed then I still have that wiggle room of 1 %. It does not sound like much but it is just enough to talk myself into a drink.

My goal is for 30 days. Today is day 2 and it was rough making it through the night without going to the store. I am having trouble getting to 100%.

@AutumnRain21 *hugs if you are okay with it* Hey there, it's great to hear from you. I'm sorry to hear that you broke your streak, and I appreciate you opening up to us about it. Yay, we'd love to see you then! It's never too late for recovery.

@AutumnRain21 I'm glad to see you. Please try to be gentle with yourself for having drank. I'm proud of you for having posted and told us. Recovery is far from a straight path. There are a lot of twists and turns and no one has a "perfect recovery", whatever that looks like. The point is, you're wanting to keep trying and we're going to be here to support you. I look forward to seeing you in some of the discussions. <3

I made it through another day. I really wanted to buy alcohol and almost went out and did. I told myself that I needed to make dinner first and eat. After that I could decide. After that I did not want a drink 😁

The program I am working on requires me to write a vision statement for the end of my 30 days so I thought I would post it here. I am not much of a writer but it means something to me.

I have my life back and I am finally happy again. I wake up refreshed and excited every day with enough energy to actually work out. I have lost so much weight and I look healthier. My relationship with my kids is so much more meaningful and I am present in our conversations. I am happy and I cannot wait to experience life in a new way.
