Hi, I’m addicted to meth and I stopped for some time but now I’m afraid of relapsing. Feels exhausting to know that this is my life..

Hello, addiction is a really hard disease and you have to have strenght to fight this! If you think you will relapse please contact someone (family,friends,doctor,..) to watch over you. But I think that you will stop when you will be 100% ready no matter what we say when you will be ready to stop you will stop! Remember why you stopped and remember that everyday that you don't relapse you are closer to your goal and your goal should be that you don't do meth. Go day by day, everyday is going to be a challenge and I know you can do this! First step is that you admit you have a problem and you already did this and I'm so proud for you! What helped me was to journal, write about it, what you are feeling? Why do you want meth? Write about it maybe will be easier find something that helps you! You can do this! I know you can! You got this!

Hey, ex meth user as well. Shits hard at first but the longer you go without it and start filling your life with positive stuff the easier it gets. I barely think about it anymore. I slip up every now and then, but the gaps between are bigger and the benders are shorter. My life is on track for the first time in 10 years I have a home, a beautiful girlfriend, and I have some of the best times ever drug free. I’m here to talk if you need someone. There’s a better life for you.

Exhausted makes sense and yet so much ahead. I get it. The struggle is real but so is the days you've gone. I hope you're proud of this!! Hold on to the energy, you will always have the right amount to see you through. Hold on and keep pushing further. It's exactly this. Further. Fear is normal and it's scary where we have been. What awaits is not scary. Afraid is not possible when such darkness has been known. Be kind to yourself
