Hey! I posted this concern on Bible Chat, but basically I was doing really well with bible study with a girl I met through Clubhouse and we were learning a lot about the bible, but she made a comment in regards to me being with my boyfriend and us having sex although we aren't married. She basically said that because we aren't married and we plan to live together then we are sinners and she made me feel as if she didn't want to be bothered with me due to that being the case. She made the claim that we could study the bible together, however, we couldn't bring up relationships anymore. But, I told her that she was a hypocrite because she was having premarital sex herself and then married her husband so to tell me I should be celibate seemed to be from a very judgmental place. I still want to study the bible with her though because we were learning a lot together, however, it has been hard to reestablish the connection we had before, advice?
@sonnieeee
You most likely once establish the same connection again.
But I'm glad you stood up for yourself because ultimately she was being hypocritical and she has no right to judge in the first place.
Don't let her take away from your love of bible class 💚🤗

@sonnieeee
admit you both made mistakes
and make it a point to say that ,sex before marriage isnt a sin
the bible isnt set in stone ,the words of God can be interpreted and reinterpreted across time and space
so you can use the interpretation that sees the parts about debauchery ot in reards to premarital sex like many conservative preachers say
but in regards to cheating and affairs outside of relationships, as ancient scholars had put forth
and well try
if god wills it you two will get back together
we are all humans and we make mistakes
