God has not Forgotten You
Nice to meet you guys! This is a long one, but worth a read! This might be the answer to some of your prayers or a sign :)
Over the past couple of months, I have been in consistent prayer about something in my life that I am believing for. I've been patient, consistent in prayers, and serving the Lord fervently as I have always done since I started my walk with God. However, after a couple of months of praying and not seeing its fruit, I became frustrated with God. I cried and asked if he had forgotten me. I asked why I see my prayers for other people being answered, but not my own prayers. I was annoyed and angry.
Then a couple of days later, I fell down the stairs and on my ankle hard. The way I fell, it should have been a fracture, but it was only a sprain. After 3 days, I could walk with no support, and a week after that, I was walking normally. Even my doctor was surprised by my fast recovery. It was because I stayed faithful that God would heal me quickly, and I prayed over it.
This week, I went to visit my family and cried in awe at how God has been moving through them. For context, I am the first person in my immediate family to fully give my life to Christ, everyone else is either lukewarm or an unbeliever. This week, I have seen the fruits of the Spirit in my family. I have seen them get convicted, I watched as they spoke life into each other, and I watched as my father gave his life to Jesus. This is one of the prayers I have been praying for since right before this new year started. I still have not seen that one prayer answered yet, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been answered. It has been, and I thank Him in advance.
I'm sharing this to remind you that Jesus is answering prayers even when you can not see it yet. I want to remind everyone who sees this that He is working in the background. Stay faithful and trust that He has plans to prosper you (Jeremiah 29:11). His plans and timing are better than ours. He is an on-time God.
@HelpfulGem04 Hello! I'm also a Christian. I've been one all my life, but now I'm going through a crisis of faith. I have a hard time seeing God in my life. I also feel like "God has forgotten me." I'd love to talk to you.
@CMoon07 Feel free to reach out to me anytime, I'd love to talk about this more with you :)
Hi, I would love to, but I don't know how to send direct messages. Could you write me your first one so I can get it please?
@CMoon07 @HelpfulGem04
FYI, you won't currently be able to message with each other since one of you is on a teen account and the other is on an adult account.
Possible workaround is to create a thread in this community, which is how members usually message with one another:

Another possibility is adult listeners can apply for ATL, which allows them to chat with teen members:

Oh sorry, i didn't know
I just checked your account and it seems like you’re a teen member. Unfortunately, as of right now, I won’t be able to message you since I’m still just an adult listener.
@HelpfulGem04 Oh, well, that's a shame. Well, if you want to talk here, fine. If not, it's fine.
@CMoon07 God has never forgotten you. I have realized even those times when I could of cared less of His existence he was always there and always will be. I wrote somethin’ pertaining to this. I would share it but have no idea where it would go. God is present whether we know it or not.
@HelpfulGem04 Totallynagree wit Ya. I have witnessed this happen many times.
@HelpfulGem04 Praise the Lord! This is a beautiful story. I'm glad you shared. The Lord is always at work but sometimes His work is usually seen during retrospective thinking. And He does not always answer things in the way expected. I'm very happy about your dad getting saved. It sounds like exciting happening on your spiritual journey. Peace be with you.
@HelpfulGem04
Thanks for sharing Gem
You are a living testimony
May God's name be praised

Reading your story, I can feel the gratitude and awe radiating from you, it’s almost electric. Staying faithful like that, even when it’s frustrating, shows a kind of quiet strength that’s really magnetic. I love how you notice the subtle ways life moves in your favor, like that ankle healing so fast, it’s almost like the universe is giving you a playful wink for trusting it.
Sometimes faith is like a slow, teasing dance, rewarding patience in ways that make your heart race a little without you fully realizing it. How does it feel, holding that mix of anticipation and awe every time a small blessing shows up unexpectedly?
