Rant

Why are some people so, angry and emotionally abusive towards others. Before, coming to faith, I’ve encountered the most anger from certain people. I know, I need to forgive, but it’s hard when I’m overcome by the awful things they’ve said, the belittling, etc. I really hope, to live on my own one day. But how can I? When my family is helpless. So many thing I can say, I’d rather not. Too much mental strife. Pills and miserable therapists aren’t going to fix it. Truly felt like most, of those therapists not only made me feel worse but lacked joy in their lives. It’s been a few years, I’ve gotten physically better and mentally better. But as much, as I was pushed to get help and whatnot. My problem was I couldn’t stay awake and alert. Just fatigue that’s it. Truly think, we are run by fools or miserable souls. Poor miserable soul, who can not see the truth. Please pray, my energy levels can get better so, that I can move out and live on my own. More so, for my family to respect my choices and let me be and learn to live on their own like many other parents with adults should. Not force, their children to be their, caretakers without need. To learn, the language not allow relatives to belittle them.

Friend, it is very tough living when people are like those you described but see them also as others who need healing. We don't know what's in the hearts, what traumas they had or are trying to navigate, for them to treat others unkindly or with lack lustre attitudes.

What has helped me was to talk with God about it. I've asked God deliver me from past hurts, to help me to forgive others (supernaturally, not as the world does),  to help me to give others grace that He keeps giving to me, to forgive myself, to deliver me from generational curses, and other types of, curses that I brought on myself from decisions I've made, shows I've watched and music that I've listened to.

Becoming an adult can be a huge awakening for some. There are adults who long to be children again because what they know now makes them regret and appreciate their younger days. But not all adults feel that way; we feel like we can escape and never return. But I pray that you will grow healthily and happily from your current situation and come through thanking God in advance for bringing you out in perfect peace as you keep your mind focussed on Him.

You know yourself though, so talk with God more and ask Him to help you to hear only His voice so you can hold on to His Peace and please Him.

You’ve helped me, through this advice and prayers. Thank you, it much appreciated. Much of these things, I’ve started to pray about. But I need the patience, as I deal with them.

That's great news, Friend. I'm glad that you're encouraged. Now remember, patience is developed while we go through life. we don't get patience and strength by putting on Superman and Spiderman suits; it is character development. I also need that developed in me more.

Be encouraged. And reach out to us Listeners anytime, and one of us will be here to support you. Okay? 😊
