From burnout to balance
When we’re under pressure for an extended period of time, we risk feeling burned and might get into a depressive state. Burnout isn't a sign that we've failed; it just means we've been under a lot of stress for a long time. Taking time to rest, setting limits to protect your energy, and talking to trusted friends or family can really help you feel better.
Participation question:
How do you prevent burnout?
Do you have a set time to stop working (whether outside or at home)?
Are you taking the weekend off to recharge?
Do you acknowledge or praise yourself or others for accomplishments or things you've or they’ve done?

Seeking Help
Mental stress can cause us not to be able to see the good things in life and lead to excessive rumination or worries, which can result in serious health problems. If you have serious, long-term problems with negative thinking and feeling depressed, see your doctor or talk to a therapist if they are related to any mental challenges.

@amiablePeace77 How do you prevent burnout?
When I am tired or starting to get irritable, I stop and follow the breath and or take a nap and or have a nutritiousmeal or snack.
Retire! lol!

No, weekends are when I'm most active or busy on the contrary.

I listen to my body.
I honestly check in with myself, how's my mood?
I don't let things escalate.
I create time for myself before things get to a worse place 💙
I try to be organised and prioritise what are the most important things to do today? But when you have limited energy, it's all too easy to do it all at once and be relieved it's done..
There are times when I can pat myself on the back, usually though I wish I had done more, even though it's literally not possible.
I am very delicate so from Friday onwards I will do very lil. From late afternoons, I just try to stop everything because I know I need a break mentally and physically.
