Stress and saddness

I have a full time job, full time school work toward my degree, volunteer work and a husband. When I’m stressed I can’t do anything at home. It’s almost like a block I put up to avoid doing homework. I also am unable to manage my emotions when I’m stressed and I constantly think about my sister who passed away tragically a year and a half ago. I need to finish my degree but it’s either I lack motivation or I’m sabotaging myself from finishing.

@orangeBlueberry4149 I am sorry for the loss of your sister. That must be a lot of emotions to work through with her not being there. You sound like you do not have a moment to rest. how much do you sleep a night? Sleep is important to keep emotions balanced. A diet high in protein and low in carbs helps me keep emotions stable.

Exercises like adrienne complete beginners yoga and 5 minute tai chi on youtube help reenergize me and charge my battery. Mindfulness helps me not get hijacked by thoughts. Jon Kabat Zinn and Padraig O'Morain have great videos on youtube.
