When everything seems to go wrong
“When everything seems to be going wrong, it pays to focus on what is going right. It's easy to over-dramatise problems, especially when one comes after another. Don't make them all-encompassing. Realise that you've got this and that problem, but that doesn't mean that everything in your life is a problem. Remind yourself of what is going well. Remind yourself of what you have to be grateful for. Even the tiniest things count.”
(excerpt What to Do When It Feels Like the World Is Against You)
Writing down all the good things that happened to you in your life is a wonderful way to remind yourself that there are good people out there and that good things happen.
What are some things that went right in you life today?
And if you remember, at the end of every day, write down some positive things that happened that day, focusing on the smaller things you appreciated.
Give this a try for a couple days and let us know how you are feeling after trying this.
How do you comfort yourself when things go wrong?
There are times when we cannot help ourselves anymore and feel lost. If you are at this point right now, please reach out.

@amiablePeace77 I like the idea of this thread to post about the good things.
i shared a mindfulness app with someone that it helped them
I rested after a tiring day yesterday
I found a shower helped me bounce back.
@amiablePeace77 When things go wrong, I like to remind myself that everything happens for a reason and that things always work out the way they are supposed to. We are constantly improving as individuals and each experience is special in its own way! I definitely take the time to be upset, but you can't let the experience break you!
@fruityPond7887 I like your attitude.
@soulsings Aw thank you so much!
@fruityPond7887 you are welcome
@fruityPond7887
I so agree, it's okay to be upset but never let it break you!
@amiablePeace77 Absolutely! What doesn't harm you makes you stronger!! 💪
