Here are some things I tell myself
"Okay, you're having a rough time, what now - burry your head in the sand or focus on something different?" "Let's focus on something different!"
"It's okay to feel down at times. Let's go for a walk or do some aerobics"

Not confusing, hehe :P, just saying that when we say to ourselves that we can do this even when we are not able to, we at least start doing it or we start thinking about how to go about it, kind of makes the process easier :P
