@amiablePeace77
I have never thought about this. I should because of my rage issues i have strained my hart on a regular basis for most of my life. I don't expect to live past my early 70 if i am that lucky.
@Gettingbettertoday
I'm sorry that your life was so stressful and hope that coming here helps you to become more at peace now.
Rage causes our stress hormone (cortisol) levels to rise and over time that can cause damage to the body. There are some good exercises and relaxation techniques to keep cortisol in check. If interested you can check MedicalNewsToday 13 proven natural ways to reduce cortisol levels.
@amiablePeace77 How do you take care of your heart?
I try to exercise regularly and eat a healthy low carb diet.
I think the most beneficial thing for my heart is to avoid letting negaitve emotions like anger run my life. With mindfulness I can monitor my thoughts and keep the negative stuff from grabbing control. If I see mildly negative thoughts I do not let them speak through me. Relationships are better for it.
@amiablePeace77 wait😱😱 I suffer with low blood pressure😱😱 does this mean I don't have a heart😱??????
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I try to stay as healthy as I can ❤😁. I don't meditate, but do gentle exercises, and exercise my heart through love and kindness😁😁😁😁
@Tinywhisper11 You're all heart ❤️❤️
@amiablePeace77. I have heart disease so I take the medications that have been ordered. I gave up many foods that I like so I could follow the diet that was prescribed by my doctor. I exercise within my limitations as well. I do breathing meditations to help me feel calmer.
