@amiablePeace77 sometimes I guess I do, when I acknowledge a success. How do I celebrate🤔 I boast about it to my carers or to people on this site😁 ❤
I really need to learn my own victory dance🤔🤔🤔
@Tinywhisper11 Thats great, I'm kinda looking forward to a victory dance from you 👀
@ThoughtsBubbleExpress haha! I'm going to be no match compared to that baby 😂😂😂😂😂😂 ❤ soooo cute ❤
@amiablePeace77 I journal my achievements, take a day off and go on towards achieving new goals
@ThoughtsBubbleExpress does my victory dance to celebrate your victories ❤
@Tinywhisper11 Lol yay lets dance together 💃
@amiablePeace77
I have not had an accomplishment worth celebrating since 2015.
Trigger warning guy doing belly dance
@Gettingbettertoday heyyyyyyy! Wait a minute mister!!!! You made friends with tiny since then!!!! That's definetly something worth celebrating ❤❤😁 now let's see your victory dance to celebrate our friendship😁 oooo! Look at you go😍
@Tinywhisper11
It does not take the file format that is animated.
@Gettingbettertoday
Tbh I find that coming here to reach out is an achievement since many people just don't and keep suffering but what is something you could see as an achievement?
@amiablePeace77
Assuming someone can accomplish something accidentally. What have I accomplished?
@Gettingbettertoday
You still did it and learned something on the way, even if it wasn't an intentional achievement. To me the achievement can be seen in just learning how to do what. What do you think?
@amiablePeace77
Its not that I have made no progress.
It's the idea of celebrating a race that hasn't even finished yet let alone been won. I am not even sure if I have rounded the first bend. I certainly can't see the end from here.
Much of my progress is what the meds have done for me. Despite my meds I still have anxiety and depression. I went to a coffee group this past weekend and my anxiety was so bad that I was sick from the day before to the day after. I literally had a hard time keeping food down.
@Gettingbettertoday
Gosh, sounds like you felt really really bad, so sorry. Do you think that by any means the coffee you had (if so) made it worse?
@amiablePeace77
It started the day day before so i don't think the coffee had much impact.

@amiablePeace77
I mostly get myself a nice snack, with a comfy movie in my bed hehe
@daydreammemories
Me too! 😀 A big sweet apple and a good movie 👍
@amiablePeace77
😁👌
No, but I should. I made a post earlier about how I was struggling to find a job and people in the comments mentioned temp agencies, so I reached out to a few. Although they don't have anything for me right now, the fact that I finally took that first step after months of wallowing and procrastination is a small victory in itself.
Celebrating would be fun even on small things, which shows our appreciation for the universe. A slice of cake, few glasses of wine, or even a relaxing bath could work as a small present to myself.
@miraculousTouch2949
Oh I love the idea of a relaxing bath. Would you also use essential oils?
