Coping with stress
When I moved into a new place to live everything was just so different and I did not have any work neither any friends. Something that helped me to deal with the anxiety and stress I experienced was making a plan on how things are - what changes I would like to have - and how to get there. Another thing was learning acceptance that there are many different ways the world can present itself and we can only change us not others. This helped me a lot.

Change always being stress some good and some bad …. Retirement was a big change and being empty nester … I do love it and cope with being social with others and helping others ….
Remember that it takes time to adjust do lots of self care and every transition takes time to become the new normal …

Which events in your life caused you the most stress (without going into much detail) and which strategies have you used to overcome that stress?
- Moving 1000km away from home, in mid life (2017), not knowing anyone other than my partner (at the time) & my full grown, independent son. As well, being exposed to a big city ( 1.6 million), re entering education, Moving on my own in a big city without a real plan.
Strategies - when first moved, became involved in exercise, online courses, hiking, with a hiking group, going back to full time college, hiked A LOT (met a lot of different people), graduated college, moved into my own space. Biggest strategy is practicing gratitude every day.

My entire childhood and being disabled at the end of it. Tried about everything but haven't found anything that would help overcome it. Moving across the world helped a bit in some small ways.
@OneErased gives you a giant tiny hug ❤
@amiablePeace77 my biggest most stressful change was moving to planet earth ❤ how I coped through learning new things, people's kindness, a lot of coffee😋 and icecream😁
