Communication.
Honesty.
Accepting and embracing who you are.
Not trying to fit the mould.
Life's too short to be anyone else but you!

How can someone become more comfortable with who they are and with other people?
Staying authentic to yourself, finding peace with where you are in life and not comparing your timeline with someone else's, not being bothered by judgement, being confident in your skin- it's hard but mindfulness amps up the game.
Being non judgemental with yourself.
Accepting yourself and as well as people around you.
Writing just random thoughts in a quote or poet form helped me to accept myself and be more authentic
Being greatful for what we are I feel it let us accept ourselves and also we feel proud, gratitude, embraced.❤️✨
@amiablePeace77
It depends at what level we start. Most of us already feel pretty good about ourselves and the social relationships we have.
When you tell people "you could have a problem" or "you could do better", it makes many think something is wrong when nothing is. Young adults are particularly vulnerable with this line of thought and this is why a zit on their forehead ruins their self-image for the day. It takes a while and some encouragement to be comfortable in that area. You just need a nasty friend or a competitive mother to demolish your benga game.

@Fradiga
I meant "JENGA"
@Fradiga
Hearing "you could have a problem" or "you could do better" can cause a person to self-doubt even if sometimes it's really meant with good intention.
@amiablePeace77
Right - that's why pointing to the fact that most everyone has issues that no-one else notices is a good start. I keep teaching the young about all the grey zones of life.

How can someone become more comfortable with who they are and with other people?
Be yourself and not care what others think, that covers the being comfortable with who they are part.
As for being comfortable with others, idk. I think people just need to be patient and keep trying till they find other people who accept them as they are
@amiablePeace77 At one time I was not comfortable wit anything regarding myself. People wise it was strange in the sense of I would not be comfortable around them within my neighborhood or environment but yet feel comfortable on a crowded train or bus. After sometime understanding my past and looking at the positives I did have in my life I learned to accept and who I am as a person. Sure theres always room for improvement but the main thing now is I have me and altho I still may be shy I am not as bad as I once was and I do like being around people.
