This is a focus of mine too but it’s not just this month it’s my whole life. My toxic mother put me through more than enough, more than I deserve to be put through and I can’t tolerate it anymore bc after living through all I’ve been through I’ve earned my exit from her. i legaly have to deal with mine til next year but i am ignoreing her as much as posible as she hates me but i already have 90% of a plan for next year as only thing left is to figere out schooling as my bf mom do not speak much englesh and i speak like no spanish and they move to out of county witch yay me but boo as i have my group here and next yr is SR year for me but my BFD grads this year and when i leave my siblings have to stay and i feel bad and i have an IEP that mom will not remover herself from yet seems to not care abt as "my iq means i should not go to college" and" i could not deal with my asd 8 yr old bro so i cant teach highschoolers who can beat me up" yet even the one who hated me has not beat me up and he has had reason but now we are civle as a rebellon act to mom to start but now i genuwely will give him a 3rd chance as he unlike his sister has earned it and he is a giid gu who was mad at me for reasons and may have goe a bit to far but i undersatnd and i know what it is like to be juged based on past and not be given a chance

Good for you regarding that next year you won’t be living with your mom anymore. And that you’re ignoring her till then. But your siblings still have to deal with her after you move out right? Like you I feel bad about that too. But maybe they can visit you or stay with you to lessen the amount of time they’re with your mom???
I’m proud of you for ignoring her and that you’ll be living on your own next year. Figuring out schooling may not be easy for everyone but you got this. My suggestion would be to pick a school that’s affordable but that has what you want to get out of being in a school, but also is far enough away from your mom yet your siblings are still able to come visit you bc you’re not too too far away. If that makes any sense 😂😂😂

it makes sense and i will be 18 next August but i will be a sr and living with my bf and his family and if i leave i am like 90%sure my parents wont let the kids visit me and him as mom hates me and dad follows her no matter if he agrees

I'm truly genuinely sorry that you’re in this situation. But leaving means you won’t have to deal with your parents anymore. Knowing that is obviously your reason for leaving as you said you would. Idk how old the other kids are now but once they’re old enough to go hang out themselves they can always meet you somewhere w/o your parents knowing and when they’re old enough to move out, they can go to you or you can go to them whenever w/o your parents doing anything about it regardless of their feelings bc as adults you have the right to live your life how you want to.

Something i want to focus on this month is getting into a routine for college, like studying and taking small breaks.

My plan when I first went to college was to take long breaks and study a little. Unfortunately that did not work well at the end of the semester but I learned my lesson.
