Help me Understand
I’ve been struggling for a while, trying to push back and fight a part of me that I don’t want more real than what it already feels. But I feel like I disconnect from myself at times. Like I physically can see that nothing looks right? Or even feels real for that matter. I don’t know if that’s anxiety or panic? Or I’m just crazy?
and half the time I’m as comfortable as can be and then I get this few of everything around me all hazey like? And not real. And then it puts me into a panic mode and I literally fight myself out of it. I’ve never spoken to anyone about it because I don’t want to seem crazy or unstable but it’s happening more often than usual and I just want help understanding it. Or even if you’re experiencing it too. I don’t know anymore.

You are very brave for reaching out to get support! I could imagine that it feels confusing and maybe also scary to realize that you're disconnecting from yourself, and nothing feels real anymore. Sometimes, when people go through extreme stress or deal with traumatic events, they cope with dissociation even long after the event has happened. It might help to talk about it with a listener in a 1:1 chat if you like to share more about your situation.
You are not crazy for feeling disconnected from yourself, it's a natural thing that can happen from time to time when you aren't occupied, sleeping in bed or feeling inactive generally leads to these feelings since your mind is focusing on the negative things in life, this is especially bad if you are tired, dealing with bad experiences or have nothing to look forward to.
Many people go through these feelings of haziness and stress , you are not alone. As long as you are able to recognize this feeling and express it, then you can decide what course to take to deal with it. This can come in the form of a distraction like art or television, but this is short term solution.
If you wish for a long term solution I believe having a plan for tomorrow or another day will provide some relief, instead of focusing on nothing you can then focus on something that you feel will be good for yourself, it doesn't have to be anything too significant.
It could just be waking up at a specific time, cleaning something, going for groceries, or talking to a friend and then once you are comfortable you can add some more demanding tasks I recommend using Todolist if you want a tool that assists with keeping a list of tasks.
I hope that I gave some good advice, and if you ever feel stressed again don't be afraid to post again.
