@amiablePeace77 I can't do yoga, cause of my limited movement. But I do gentle stretches and exercises😁❤
@Tinywhisper11
Good that you do not let your limited movement prevent you from doing what's good for your body 👍
@Tinywhisper11
I’m so sorry that you can’t Yoga bc of your limited movement but I’m so so proud of you that you’re not letting that stop you from doing any movement or anything period and that you’re doing any exercise and stretching you can do. Gr8 job! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Go Lola go! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@amiablePeace77
Yoga is part of my self-care routine that I do and I very much enjoy it! I've been regularly practicing yoga for around 10 years now. What about you amiablepeace77, do you practice yoga?
@LisaMeighanMScGMBPsS
It's good that you do yoga for so long already! 👍I practise yoga regularly too but recently I did not do it for a few days and could feel how stiff my body was after working in the garden. Before I go to bed I usually do some yoga poses so the body feels relaxed and ready for sleep.
@amiablePeace77
What is your favourite yoga pose? :) It certainly helps to make us feel more flexible and creates space within our bodies.
@amiablePeace77
I don't do Yoga right now. I have don't it in the past. It is more strenuous then I would like based on my health. I don't think i could do it anymore. Instead I prefer Tai-Chi as it is less focused on body strength.
I haven't tried yoga...I don't think my body will let me. lol I would try it though. I'd like to do tai chi (have done it in the past) but there are no groups around here that do it, and while it's nice doing it at home, it would be much nicer to meet up and get outside and practice it.
@amiablePeace77
Currently not practicing but am definitely more than open to learning it bc of all its benefits. But when I’m ready to and when I find a very experienced someone who can teach me all the yoga they know 1 on 1.
Happy International Yoga Day everyone! ❤️
@akunknown
Taking one on one lessons can be very helpful and allows to customize your movements!
@amiablePeace77
Yes absolutely but the biggest thing to me about 1 on 1s is that since you or in this case I am the sole learner, I will be the focus of the instructor as opposed to a class where all students would be the instructor’s focus and if one student needed help or didn’t understand something the session would temporarily stop so that student could be helped. While the class only stopped temporarily it still took time away from the rest of us that no one’s getting back. Of course that student deserved to be helped till he/she got it. But when I’m learning something so beneficial like Yoga I rather be the instructor’s focus instead of a whole class. I feel I’ll pick it up faster too that way. If I sound selfish/greedy, sorry.
@akunknown
It does not sound selfish to me at all. You do what feels right for you! 1 to 1 yoga lessons are offered for a reason!
@amiablePeace77 happy yoga day!
