@Tinywhisper11 it was just a relentless day. I care full-time for my parents, my dad has been through so much, he underwent operations for cancer, on his mouth, ear, neck and throat, got through it, got the all clear, and then got severe infections in his legs, got him through that and then he fell and was in hospital all over Christmas, tonight he was rushed in due to spikes in blood pressure and has to get another major operation. It's just alot, constant, and I feel numb to it, tired, guilty, am I caring for him enough? Did I miss something? It's just overwhelming at times, I guess. You want to pull the covers over your head but someone's depending on you.
@Amanda84 aww honey that's alot of weight for you to carry alone, bless you 🙁 but from the bottom of my heart thankyou for being a carer the world needs more kind would like you 💖 I bet your parents feel exactly the same and are so proud of you 💗 it sounds like the cancer really messed with your dads health😥 there's nothing more you can do, your doing a fantastic job 💖 but I know how hard it can be to look after others, I would hate being my carer🙂 but your no good to anyone if you don't look after yourself too. You need to take breaks or your gonna burn out. It's ok to take breaks even though it feels wrong your parents would want you to take care of yourself too 💗 hugggsss you tightly 💖 I'm always here for you 💗 you can always message me too 💗
