Reminiscing 🥰
Let’s scroll back a bit,
What is one favorite thing you did/do from your childhood that brings you immense joy?
It’s important to remember that even during the hard times, there are still good times hiding around somewhere ❤️❤️

I remember getting really fascinated by the different cloud shapes as a child hehe and then I used to also picture clouds into different shapes/ familiar objects etc~ it was so much fun to do! 🥰

I do that even now sometimes hehe~ cloud watching is super fun!
How about you?
Hey Sunshine,
Your name fits! Cloud watching and sunshine. I absolutely adore that. I use to make shapes with clouds too.
My favorite memory was watching movies with my parents every Saturday night❤️❤️
@DearestRon Aww thank you hehe, and wow Ron, I’m happy to know I wasn’t alone ~ cloud watching is top tier fun for real! 🥰
Watching movies with your parents every Saturday night? Sounds like a wonderful little ritual y’all had together~ I love it so much! Small meaningful ways to spend time with our love ones and see? They become such fond memories for later! Thanks a lot for sharing! 💛 Any childhood favorite movies you recall?
@DearestRon building forts out of blankets and pillows. there was smthn so fun about turning an ordinary room into a secret hideout or i dunno like a castle. crawling inside with snacks, toys, or books made it feel like your own little world, yknow? safe, cozy, and pretty much full of imagination. still do it sometimes to be honest lol
Doing puzzles with my mom while listening to music
@easyScarf7950 - I loved doing puzzles with my brother on rainy days, growing up!
@DearestRon
as a child we lay on a blanket on one of the hay fields on grandpa farm that was next-door to our home. we watch the clouds and name what we saw in them. what they looked like to us. we could do this for hours. we still look at clouds when out and inside say what they look like to us.
this was a thing our grandpa started with us very young. he was more like a dad to us then our dad we lived with. so many things that still bring us joy are things he taught us.
something we can no longer do due to health is walk in the woods that a big thing for us for most our life. as grandpa use to take long walks with us in woods. to him his church was within the woods. within God creation he would always same. that one big memory always brings us joy.

Wandering around outside during summer weekends🌻
@DearestRon when I was 7 I had birds growing up and one of our birds was a cockateel and I spent HOURS training it to walk up and down the stairs 🤗 . whenever I think back on it I laugh because of how determined I was lol

Getting on my bicycle in the morning and riding all day long and coming home when it got dark out.
Those were the days when you had no worries or care in the world, free as a bird.
Times have changed, when my kids were younger they never went out alone.
