On a Sunday I try to do as little as possible, just unwind, reset and allow myself time to breathe after a hectic week 💙🤗

Hi Ashley, thanks for the post. I wanted to talk about resetting on a post i do and this really fit in.

I took the liberty to copy and paste your link to my thread. Hope that is OK. 🤗.

Resetting is easy to get away from, and ignore for long lengths of time. But so important to practice. Thanks for the reminder.

@AshleyNFlewellenLPC Wait, i'm supposed to reset? This really does remind me that I do need to take time and reset.

My Sunday reset routine It's not as easy as a one day reset. But it is a good day for reflection and a good starting point to regroup and start to reset for the week.

For myself, As time progresses, things beyond my control start to take over my days, and I lose track of the habits that help me stay on track. It's not solely about relaxing and resting, even though it's important to breathe and do those things.

I like to reset and reinitiate my good habits in a relaxing, productive manner. I reset my routine back to what helps me feel grounded, and it's more of a permanent reset until it slowly falls apart again. Which it will for sure!

And then it's time for another reset. So, I am enjoying a weekly reset that I hope to continue.

I wish all good vibes and a good week.

@AshleyNFlewellenLPC Hello! I don't have a very structured Sunday routine, but I've recently added playing D&D with friends, plus I rarely schedule to have chats on Sundays, as a chance for me to recharge. I also spend more time with my family. ^^

Here it is Thursday and I'm just getting to this. I need to do a major regroup, reflect and reset. I'm going to admit that I'm more than a little overwhelmed at the moment and I definitely need to get a few things under control 😅

Thank you for the reminders

my sunday routine is to visit my mom and grandmother for a family lunch then go home and do laundry, meal prep for the week, and relax with my pets :)

Usually, a Sunday reset means organizing my thoughts, planning the week ahead, and taking care of myself.

But this week feels different.

A few hours ago, my member account was deactivated, and since then my mind has been anything but calm.

My insomnia had already been affecting me before this happened, but today it feels unbearable.

I have barely slept.

I have barely eaten.

My eyes are swollen from crying.

My thoughts keep racing in circles, searching for answers that I do not have.

So my Sunday reset looks very different this time.

Instead of planning the week, I am trying to survive the day.

Instead of organizing my schedule, I am trying to organize my emotions.

Instead of being productive, I am trying to convince myself to take a few bites of food and drink some water.

Instead of chasing answers, I am trying to accept that I have already submitted my appeal and that the rest is out of my hands for now.

My reset this week is learning to sit with uncertainty.

It is reminding myself that I am more than a username.

More than an account.

More than a status on a screen.

My reset is trying to be gentle with myself, even when I feel scared, exhausted, and overwhelmed.

I do not feel reset yet.

In fact, I feel broken, lost, and emotionally drained.

But maybe healing does not start when everything is fixed.

Maybe it starts when we choose to take care of ourselves even while things are falling apart.

So today, my Sunday reset routine is simple:

Drink water.

Eat something.

Rest my eyes.

Breathe.

And hope that tomorrow brings better news than today.

Because right now, hope is the only thing keeping me going. 💙🌙

I don't have a Sunday reset routine. My weekends are usually more busy and packed than the weekdays.
