A lot of general knowledge, interviews with people who have brains and no painted nails, discussions, music (including folk and classical), cinema and games.
When there used to be ONE national channel, that was pretty much the fare and no advertising
@Fradiga PBS in the US is like that but now they have "sponsors" to make up for loss of public funding. They have shows like Nature, Firing Line, and Science shows with kids programmis during the day. Mr Rogers was amazing for many years.

When other cable channels followed HBO, I was happy to see there was a "History" channel, but within a few months, I realized it was more entertainment than actual history.
In the early 90s, I used to lie down on the couch in the afternoon and watch Bob Ross paint sceneries in 30 minutes and his voice would rock me to sleep.

I would run a channel to inform young people about coping skills for mental challenges. The youth of today will determine how well and healthy our societies will be in the future. It's about creating a better world.

I would propose that people are elected from each county and state to host their own local talent and special interest showcases, with community hubs for engagement and interaction, plus live shows!♥️♥️♥️🎨🖌️🦇👽

If I could run a TV channel, it would be a mix of language learning, world cultures, travel, classical musicals, documentaries, and personal development.
There would be programs about Chinese language and culture, inspiring life stories, educational podcasts in video format, and classic films that have stood the test of time.I would choose these shows because I enjoy learning about the world and believe that good content can broaden our perspectives while still being entertaining.
My goal would be to create a channel that leaves viewers feeling more knowledgeable, inspired, and connected to different cultures.
