Mad libs We walked along road
- when I saw an elderly person
- sitting in front of their house
- My friend intitially said "He looks grumpy"
- but I replied "No" let's go to him and ask him about the area here
- We listened to what interesting stories the old man told for quite a while
- and it made me reflect on all what I experienced in life.
- At night before I fall asleep
- I was still thinking about what he told us
- and grateful we stopped.
Mad libs We walked along the beach.
- when I saw small turtle
- sitting on a bench.
- My friend intitially said "What is that?"
- but I replied "No" let's not get too technical"
- We listened to what the turtle told about his life back at the pond for quite a while
- and it made me reflect on all the days I remember playing in a pond.
- At night before I went out to dinner,
- I was still thinking about that turtle and his home at the pond:
- and grateful we had crossed paths along the beach.
We walked along the Seashore holding each other's hands, gazing upon the sun setting, making the sky so beautiful, but then I started thinking about you, and naturally started looking at you,
when I saw you staring at something at some distant. It was the coconut tree. Not any coconut tree, but the. It was where we had spent our first day together. And it was where I proposed you.
sitting there with you always reminded me of those moments. Oh how the time passes so quickly when you are having the best moments of your life.
My friend intitially said we may start living like we may not ever find true love and i had reached such a point in my life where I was ready to do it. Single till college, broke, believing in true love and fantasies. It was difficult for me to imagine life without it. Cause even though I have been single forever but the hope to find that true love kept me strong. They insisted on making me promise to live my life without thinking about it,,
but I replied "No" let's not give up our only hopes now. I can start focusing on myself, stop thinking about love all the time, but killing the hope won't get me nowhere.
We listened to whatever things those people said at the radio and newspapers about true love and believed what they told for quite a while,
and it made me reflect on all what I thought it was then and what you taught me it was. They had it wrong or maybe it was their version of it.
At night before I go to sleep, I often think about such things. My past, my friend, those carefree days, days with you. Cause that's what I have left now.
I was still thinking about the time when we used to walk along the seashore with you by my side and how you didn't ever not notice that tree whenever we Walked by it.
and grateful we enjoyed every moment together we could. Grateful that even though you are not here with me now, but you will be here with me always in my memories . And with that i kiss the tree and lay down on the soft sand, looking at the stars and slowly drifting to sleep.

We walked along the back country trail, when I saw a grizzly bear sitting beside the river. My friend intitially said "OH CRAP! IT WILL MAUL US", but I replied "No" let's just back away & give them their space, as it is their home, after all. We backed away, letting the bear , on its homeland, find the food it was seeking.
We listened to what the river told the bear. It told for quite a while, that their food was here, abundant, but it could take much effort, to secure the food until the bear could catch the food they were seeking.
It made me reflect on all the ways nature does to live & survive.
At night before I fell asleep in my tent, I was still thinking about how Mother Nature provides for all. And grateful we witnessed 'another' just trying to 'survive'.
Kinanaskomitin (Formal Cree Thank you)
@CaringSub wow what a cool-headed approach to delaing with a bear.
@soulsings
Thank you. This is just one of three encounters I have had with bears - all non-confrontational. It is not a matter of understanding bear behaviour & knowing when to defend oneself, but be grateful & give thanks when traversing their homeland. Most are just wandering through, seeking food. I could go on about other possibilities. However, it is mainly for food - sustanence for their life.

Mad libs We walked along the sidewalk in the most friendliest country I’ve ever been in
- when I saw this group of people
- sitting at the park waving to us to come over to them
- My friend intitially said “No” feeling strangers shouldn’t be trusted so early and easily
- but I replied “Come on. Let’s give them a chance. If it doesn’t work out we can definitely handle it.” Upon agreeing with me, we went to them.
- We listened to what the group of people told us for quite a while
- and it made me reflect on everything good and not good that I experienced as well as all the lessons I learned however and from whoever I learned them that made me who I currently am.
- At night before I went to sleep
- I was still thinking about meeting the kind and friendly group of people at the park
- and grateful we met and became friends with them
- Before saying goodbye to each other we made plans to meet each other at the same place at the park tomorrow right before having lunch together so we’ll have more time to spend together :)

Mad libs We walked along the serene canopy trail in the middle of a mountain.
- when I saw a blue colored bird
- sitting on the branch of the low tree.
- My friend initially said let's capture it with phone
- but I replied "No" let's just watch it over the distance.
- We listened to what the bird was chirping alone, the sound reminded of what my mother told for quite a while
- and it made me reflect on all what life means in listening carefully to the surroundings we may find peace in it.
- At night before I reached to my camp sight
- I was still thinking about how beautiful the mother earth is with different sounds and colors
- and grateful we have some people to enjoy seeing it
