I like to share: Places to go - State Parks, National Parks, Tourist Traps, Scenic Highways, Nature Hikes, and anything that has to do with Hawaii.
Maybe i just lack Generosity of spirit.
I don't share with others unless they ask. I don't assume anyone is interested in what i have to offer.
P.S. No one asks.

I guess what I choose to share is what makes my day positive and joyful. Meeting new people here and learning about what they think, helps me consider options I might not ever think of.
Also, having a really positive day with all family members at home, that means no altercations, is wonderful! I can be a part of the solution, which is what I desire. Sometimes I get caught up in negative interactions with family, that quickly lead me down a problematic path! I choose to become part of the daily solution and redirect any negativity, even if inside I want to blurt out what I think and feel about something that I have an issue with. Keeping the peace is often difficult, but it does make me a part of the solution.👍

It is interesting to return to this topic today of, "to share or not to share".
I was told by a family member long ago, that I have trouble filtering what I should and should not say or share. They have asked me to remain silent on most occasions. And embarrassingly I admit that I do to keep the peace.
I have pondered and mulled this comment over for quite a long time. The determination I came to was that in being silenced, it meant that I was not being heard or listened to. Often, I am not even spoken to. This may sound ridiculous, but in all honesty, it makes me feel invisible as an individual.
I appreciate 7 cups, where I can speak and feel like someone is listening, as well as hearing me. Not just my words, but my heart! Thank you to ALL who willingly take time out of their own busy lives to listen, hear and care about others! I may or may not be the only one who is expected to remain silent and feels personally invisible, but it can make people like me feel very alone in their invisible silence.

I wanna share a poem. It's called "My heart says differently"
When you look at my face
You just see innocence
They say shes a good one
She must be heaven sent
I just sit at home
And I think very intensely
My mind says to go with the crowd
But my heart says differently
My mind says just roll with it
Just spare yourself the pain
But my heart says to be myself
And go a little against the grain
My brain says to put up a wall
So my heart doesnt get hurt
But my heart says to brave the danger
And take it on head first
The people that know me well
Know that im far from lazy
They take one look at my eyes
And they see all of my crazy
My mind says to push people away
Only for my own self defense
But my heart and brain never agree

"Me and my best friend Lily were in the hallway at school planning to go shopping together at the end of the day, when this annoying girl, Olivia came by. She was always bullying everyone because she was extremely popular and pretty. Most people worshipped her but me and Lily hated her. She was mean and annoying, and we didn’t understand why all the guys were trying to get her but anyway enough about her. So me and Lily planned to go to the mall that was closest to our house after school and go shopping for some new jean shorts because mine had ripped. English and science went by in a blur. Then it was time for lunch. I brought a turkey and cheese sandwich and some doritoes. Lily hadn’t brought anything but a bag of pringles because she thought it was pizza day, but it wasn’t. “Want half of my sandwich?” “Sure.”, she smiled and took it. We both ate our lunch and went to walk and talk in the courtyard. She told me that she had some news for me. “Ooo what is it?!” “Well…I’m lesbian.”, she confesses. “Omg seriously? That’s great! I’m so happy for you!” I immediately see her face relax when I say that. I am deciding weather or not to tell her I am too, and decide to do it. “Well…I am too!” I say excitedly. “What? That’s amazing! You can help me figure all this stuff out!” “Of course I will.” We start talking about how she came out to her family and how they reacted. The bell to go back to class rang all too soon, and the rest of the day went by in a flash and before I knew it, it was time for school to let out. Once the bell rang, Lily and I bolted to my car and prepared to go to the mall. We both called our parents to make sure it was still okay that we go, and then we headed out. We arrived within 15 minutes and then headed to our favorite store, Hot Topic. We decided to get new shirts and chains and then we on a whim called our moms and asked if we could get our second ear piercings. They said no sadly and we decided to go into Claires and look at jewelry. We didn’t find anything we liked so we went to eat. She got a burger and I got some chicken nuggets and fries. I made a choice on a whim to tell her how I felt about her. “Lily, I have to tell you somoething.” “What is it?” “I have been wanting to tell you for a few weeks now.” She looks at me and waits for me to talk. “I um… I like you.” I say with shaky hands. There is a momentary pause then she takes my hand. “Echo I like you too.” A loud gasp comes from my mouth. “Seriously?” “Yeah. I have for months, I just didn’t want to ruin our friendship.” I laugh. “I was scared of that too.” I breathe a sigh of relief and we both burst out laughing. “I’ve been wanting to do this for a while.”, Lily says and before I can react, she reaches over and kisses me gently. I return her kiss and she breaks it slowly. “That was a pleasant surprise.”, I smile. Pretty soon the mall closes and we leave and go home. Since it’s a Friday, Lily comes over to my house and she plans to stay the night. We decide to watch a movie but can’t decide on one. She sees a lesbian short film and points it out to me. “We’re watching it.”, we say in unison. She lays down and I lay my head on her chest as we watch the movie. She puts her arm around me and I feel safe and protected. The mischievous look on her face tells me shes up to something. The scene in the movie comes up where the girl asks her crush to be her girlfriend. She sits up at the beginning of the scene and asks me to be her girlfriend. “Omg yes!!”, I say happily. I kiss her again and lay my head back on her chest and finish the movie. We fall asleep like that. Fast forward 3 years later we’re engaged and a month away from the wedding."

Part two!!
We are both a nervous wreck. We have so much to do and so little time. We still have to get dresses, pick bridesmaids and maids of honor, get flowers, a venue and just ughhhhh. Why did nobody tell me being a bride would be this harddddddd?? I can’t go a minute without remembering something else I have to do. Lily hears me groaning in frustration and comes and hugs me from behind. “What’s wrong baby?”, she asks in her sweet voice. “There is just so much to do and so little time to do it. I’m just a little frustrated.” She runs her fingers through my hair and kisses my neck, making me instantly relax. “Why don’t we take a break and go out for ice cream?” I sigh and agree. I grab the keys and we get in the car. “Where should we go?”, I ask. “Dairy Queen!”, we say in unison. I put the key in the ignition and we drive to the resturant. We order our ice cream and sit down to wait for it. After we get home we return to wedding planning. Pretty soon I tell her, “All that’s left is for us to get dresses.” “We can schedule a dress fitting for next week.”, she suggests. “Great idea. Then we’ll be done with planning.” I sigh with relief and she hugs me. Everything is finally coming together, and I can not wait to get married. In the blink of an eye, the wedding day is finally here! I am nervous, excited, and happy all at once. Everything appears to be perfect. Everything is all set up and running smoothly. That is until I see someone familiar in the audience. I don’t acknowledge them in hopes they won’t cause any trouble. Boy was I wrong!! We are just about to say our vows when Papaya jumps up and sceams “Lily, Echo is cheating on you!!” My jaw drops and get a look of fear on my face. The look on Lilys face is hurt. “It’s not true Lily. I promise you.” I grab her hand but she pulls away. The look on Papayas face was pure amusement. “Tell her!! Tell her it’s not true!!!!”, I cry, and tears stream down my face. “But it is true.”, Papaya says. Lily turns to me. Lily looks hurt and I don’t blame her. She turns away from me and I can see her body shaking from crying. I try and grab her hand but she pushes me away. I storm towards Papaya fuming with rage. That’s when I feel a hand grab me. It’s Lilys. I turn and look at her. “I know they were lying. I trust you.”, she smiles and hugs me. “We have a wedding to finish.” she says. I smile and we both say our vows. It’s been 5 years since then and we are still very happy and faithful to each other.
