@sunflowerblossoms21 I think love is effortless. Yes there are times we find it hard to love when their flaws are hurting us.... but if we love the essence of who they are ... then that kinda love stays on... and I think lasting relationships are possible when you love someone's heart and soul .
Sometimes relationships end because they are no longer serving each other... but love still remains in some form... of respect for the past journey.

I truly believe in unconditional love. I'm struggling on how to express this without always trying to defend myself
@Elijoesmom You shouldn’t have to feel defensive with someone who accepts you as you are and loves you anyway. 💛 Unconditional love describes love so well, super rare to see nowadays but, it really is the real-thing, I feel!
@Sunflowerblossoms21. As a mother and a partner I can say that I do NOT believe in unconditional love.
There are very few things that could make me stop loving them, and I do not think these things will happen... but humans are human and they have experiences and make choices that carry them down roads and one of those roads could possibly lead to them doing something that might make my brain and soul stop loving them
If you imagine the absolute worst thing possible and then picture your partner/child/sibling/parent doing that. Could you still love them?
I believe that the only unconditional love is from a parent to a child, though not all parents give this love. I don’t think it’s realistic or really even possible to have unconditional love in a romantic sense, but that’s just my opinion.

My defenition of love very different of how society describes it. I believe love is what I have and not what I need. I have food on my table everyday, a caring mother, I go to school I live in a rich country, I have a roof over my head, I can smile wholeheartly. Everything that I have right now is love. I am confident in myself and I will always be. And the thing is I also have so much love and respect for myself for going through the things that I went through. So I don't really base love for how much I love men, the right man will eventually find me anyways may it be in a few months or in 20 years. But what I have right now is much more important.
