What was the best piece of advice you learned in your life that you could give to yourself in the past?

Mine would be: No answer is also an answer.

It's okay to be selfish sometimes.....not everyone around you care about you ...be okay ... take care 🙂

@purpleraven22 That nothing is that serious. Take a breath and keep it moving because it always works out in the end.

Just give up now. It doesn’t get better in the future.

If I could give my younger self advise I would tell them not to be afraid of life or living it, and keep your doors open to help from others. We can't see the joys of the world in a bubble, or go through everything alone as much as we wish to

it is ok to ask questions about any & every thing! Asking a question doesn’t mean you are “questioning authority” or being disrespectful! learning how to ask questions & learning how to find the answer for yourself is the most important skill you can can give yourself!

It depends on how much younger, but the first thing that came to mind was when I was 7 or 8 years old.  I'm not sure how much advice I'd give vs just telling some truths to counteract the lies I was told.

For example, I'd convey certainty that I was a decent kid, and didn't deserve the abuse that I received.  I'd explain the reason why I was having a hard time functioning was due to PTSD, health issues and neglect.  I'd tell my previous self that my parents had mental health problems, so what they told me was wrong, that I didn't deserve every bad thing that happened to me.

Perhaps most importantly, I'd tell myself that despite everything, I'd find happiness and fulfillment beyond anything I could imagine.
