@Calytrix6 wow do you have a special recipe?

@Calytrix6

Haha let me clarify that I meant outdoors as in watching the snowfall from the window. And yeah actually, I do use a special recipe that includes half-n-half instead of milk, Egg-nogg, and cinnamon. I tried adding peanut butter as well but it didn't turn out so well lol. This year I'mma try adding caramel and see what happens

I used to love cross-country skiing and ice skating. I could do it for hours and then have a rest with a hot cup of chocolate.

Thanks for bringing back those nice memories!

@Soulsings

It is getting cold here at night and early morn. I still like to come out and play in the snow whenever we get some. Most times only last a day before it is gone. I like watching my dog slide or try to get his footing to walk, it is hilarious to watch.

@scarletPear1945 you are lucky. Buffalo is still shoveling out from a 72 inch snow storm.

@soulsings

When I was much younger I enjoyed sled riding and building snow forts. After a big snowstorm I remember enjoying walking around the neighborhood and looking at the beautiful snow-covered trees and houses. I even took pictures. Now I enjoy winter by snuggling with my cats with a blanket, drinking hot chocolate and watching the snow flakes outside my window.

@jesus88 so what is on the menu when you cook?

@soulsings well I recently discovered an amazing and easy recipe for Japanese sponge cake and I'm definitely going to make a coconut cake with that recipe (my boyfriend loves coconut and I'll make it mainly for him, not only though :P). Potato salad and pickled beetroot is a must on the table this year. The rest I'll leave to him since he is a cook (a great one). Thank you for the question <3

@jesus88 sounds delicious. I love sponge cake. If you want to share the recipe, here is a thread for sharing recipes in the 7 Cups therapy Subcom.

@soulsings

Nothing better than curling up in a big, comfy chair with a warm blanket, a cup of hot chocolate and looking out my big bay window. I like to watch the snow fall and see the people scurrying to their destinations. Also, it helps me think about what I need to do with my own life and where I'm going as well.

I used to love winter but it makes me a bit too comfortable and I sleep extra. This time I'm not liking the onset of cold air as its making me depressed.

@Creamyyy staying warm enough but not too warm is a challenge. Hope you find some things to focus on that keep the energy flowing. I do 5 minute tai chi on youtube.
