- When you have to or had to get around how did you accomplish that - by foot, bicycle, motorcycle, car, boat or plane? I used to love the bicycle for distances like up to 5 miles when I was much younger. Today I will take the car or plane if it's for vacation, to me taking the plane offers more comfort.
- What was your favorite car or bicycle or other means of transport? I had a bike which had a very beautiful sportive design and truly loved it.
@soulsings When I have to get around, I will usually drive my own car. I really don't like driving, so I prefer to fly on a plane if I am going somewhere far! But I do like to have the freedom of being able to get myself around with my car as well!

I can so relate to having freedom to get around in a car. When I'm on holiday I always like to rent a car and explore the surroundings on my own.
@amiablePeace77 That's definitely probably the cheaper option compared to Uber! Unfortunately, I am still too young to rent a car 😔
@fruityPond7887 I hear you. When I lived in Hawaii for a few months, I did not have a car but I took the bus and went around the island in a few hours.
Even if I had a car there was no place to go very far away lol. Island life!

@fruityPond7887 I found a surfboard someone threw in the trash because they hit a coral reef. So I bought fiberglass supplies and fixed it up. Then I went surfing. Lot of fun and the water is warm.
Island life is very isolated out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. That was a long time ago when I was a student.

- What was your favorite car or bicycle or other means of transport? .........I had an old Ford Galaxy that was black and white and I called it my Bat Mobile

Driving. Driving for me is very relaxing and it gives me a sense of peace serenity and freedom and it gives me time to just think about my thoughts
@greenCucumber7204 I like driving too but I hesitate to let my mind wander because of close calls I have had when driving in the car.
Oh wow. Yeah I could understand that fear.
@soulsings Unfortunately, I think no matter where we are, our problems will always be there at some point or another 😔 I think it's just trying to find that balance of when to put them to the side and when to focus on them!

@SoulfulSound yes I hear you. I am far away from town center so I usually have to use car but combine tasks on one day as much as possible.

I definitely have a preference for boats, walks and cycling. Those 3 have in common to be slow means of locomotion, enabling you to fully enjoy the surroundings as you travel, they engage you deeply your senses (you have a strong feedback of the world you navigate in).
I would love the plane if the experience wasn't as frustrating in modern days with overcrowded airports, long waits, small seats, and so on. It feels amazing to feel the plane take off.
- What was your favorite car or bicycle or other means of transport?
My favourite car so far has been the Peugeot 806, a mini-van for families, with amazingly comfy seats that rotate and allow to eat all together, and the largest trunk I've ever seen. I see a good car as a car that enables you to do a lot of things and be the most comfortable.
I also a big fondness for old transporters (Volkswagen) T2 and T3 or Caravelle.
For a bicycle I don't like either mountain bikes or city ones, I'm an hybrid fan, with suspensions as it makes such a difference with my spine issues!
