for us a few things one being doing art like painting and many other arts and crafts one of the other things is going to church we love sing and also listening to pastor message one of the other ones that many think is odd is just being in silence due to our past that one now a big one that brings us happiness
@stormieandpaws
Yes that's absolutely true 😊

cool not find many who can even sit in silence most have to have noise on at all time. we love art today we spent few hours on a paint by numbers but did not use colors that were within the kit we changed it up a lot and what we got done really cool it a owl but very like designed one with many small places and well not that easy to do but it fun
I feel most happy when I walk in the forest, being by water and taking care of my plants at home. I also collect rocks and feathers. Nature and natural beauty. ð§¡
@Healingsouls89 playing with my cats still makes me feel good.
Unfortunately other things I used to enjoy no longer makes me feel good, like walking outside or drawing or watching movies
Following through with my writings
Something I really value about myself is my ability to give myself praise and credit without putting that intention behind what I'm doing.
I was journaling a few weeks ago, I had a really bad moment where I felt overwhelmed and like I was ready to pop. I went to my boss and vented. She is an LPC, so of course she left me feeling heard, understood, and cared about.
What caught me off guard was as I wrote about what happened... I began writing that I'm proud of myself for speaking up in that moment. It made me freeze. I stared at the page and cried.
A few years ago, those thoughts and feelings wouldn't have made it on paper. Neither come out of my mouth. I would have bottled and avoided it all. Often resulting in me eventually quitting/leaving my place of employment.
It's evidence that I'm not that person anymore. That I have grown and changed. It's something worth celebrating!
