Increase your Happy Hormones

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a relaxing weekend
heart

Exercise is an effective way to release endorphins, and taking a walk can decrease the stress in your life and be a calming activity during the day. Make an effort to take a walk whenever you can and get your body moving. If you go somewhere and have the choice between using the elevator or stairs, decide for the stairs if you can. Stop during your day and shake your body for a minute as animals do too to shake off stress.

Great that you take the time for walking and listening to music! Being in nature is always a favorite of mine too, so I like walking, being in the garden and doing aerobics laugh

@amiablePeace77 What have you done today or will still do to keep fit?

I am enrolled in a weekly Tai Chi course with the senior center and I practice daily to keep the energy moving.

I also do a cardio stretching course 3 times a week.

It is part of my weekly routine that helps me not have great anxiety what to do each day. A routine is like having a goal and a plan. It takes out some of the uncertainty.

Nice that you take care of yourself in such a great way and yes, having a good routine is definitively helpful.

Exercise has helped me so much, and I think a little encouragement can go a long way. 👍 Today I walked about five miles at work, biked home, and am taking a relaxing walk with my dog. My muscles and bones and whatnot like a relaxing pace after all the intense stuff. Thanks again! Crim

@crimsonChestnut5482

Wow, you must be very fit! laugh I find taking the bike to go to work (if possible of course) is a great idea, serves both your body and the environment and going for a slower paced walk with your dog must be really relaxing. What kind of dog do you have?

@scarletPear1945

Awesome scarletPear! I remember those inversion tables from years ago with the chiropractor, they helped me a lot. Gladly my back pain stopped when picking up yoga but I think they are still of great use in general.
