Most loved presents
When I was a child I was given a doll as a present. She had no hair but I dearly loved her and carried her with me whereever I went.

My favourite gift will prolly be bicyle which my dad bought for me when I was 7 yrs old. He taught me that too.
Years later, now, cycling still has been one of my fav hobby to have some rest from the endless thoughts...<3
That's so awesome. Wow.
Thanks for sharing that story about your doll. I had a similar precious gift. There was a Pound Puppy stuffed animal that I really wanted when I was 6. But my mother could not find it anywhere. There was no internet back then, so ordering it was not an option. Haha. When my elderly neighbor heard about my desire, she decided to find it in a TV commercial and create one herself (using fabric , stuffing, and a sewing machine). She gave it to me and I thought it was the best thing ever. I took it everywhere and still have it 35+ years later. Thank you so much, Ms Hutchinson. She was such a lovely woman.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful story with us. It's amazing how far some people go to make another person happy.
@amiablePeace77 I agree so much. And thank you so much 💓

One of my favorite gifts was also a pound puppy. He was gray. I kept him with my keepsakes and handed him down to my kids. They are older now so he is packed away again waiting for grandchildren!

I had my favorite doll also and I always liked go get some second hand chlotes for my dolls. I used to dress her go for a walk with a stroller and I also made them nice food from fruits. This doll could eat and poop also. Haha 😀😀
Tangible item: a tiny wildflower growing in a hay field. A spontaneous gesture from a man I loved very much.
Intangibles: too many to name
@kayleebee
A tiny wildflower from a man one loves can be much more valuable than diamonds. What a lovely gesture.
@amiablePeace77
Thank you. Yes it was. A brief moment I will never forget. I miss him every day.

What was one of your most loved presents you ever received
For me, it was a life-sized Teddy bear that was given to me in Foster Care by Mrs. Evans. I had to leave it when I got adopted so other children could play with it. I have never forgotten him.
@scarletPear1945
I could imagine that big teddy gave you comfort and you really got attached to the teddy.
@amiablePeace77
You are right. It felt like I lost my best friend
@scarletPear1945 I am so glad that big teddy gave you comfort.
My teddy bear as a child was very dear to me, also more recently I was sad to let go of an incense burner that had a little zen garden and cup in front of a beautiful Buddha face, I had a little tiny Buddha statue too. All things must pass so I may just have to gift myself something similar some day soon. It had gotten damaged when I moved and eventually just had to go.
even more recently for my birthday I received the sweetest gift from the little one, she gifted her dada a comfy jacket with lovely wool inside, and some slippers for around the house :)
@ThadSterling That is really nice.
Thanks for your post.

Abstractly speaking, the existence of my loved ones. ♥️ I wouldn’t have had the encouragement to continue through the hardships of life without them.
Physically speaking, two things come to mind. One is a necklace from my best friend. Along with just being pretty, it saved my life once. (Long and kinda spooky story that I’m not going to share.) The other is a plushie from my boyfriend. Behold, Gelato the Seal! 🦭

@amiablePeace77 This is going to sound silly, but my parents gave me these two blankets when I was a newborn and I still have them today and I sleep with them 😂 No one is allowed to touch them and they provide comfort to me that nothing else can 😝
@fruityPond7887
It does not sound silly to me at all fruityPond. They made you obviously feel good as a newborn and that is something the body remembers so good you still have them to find comfort.
@amiablePeace77 Thank you so much I appreciate your kindness 💛
